The tv comes on and shows the logo and turns rite off.

Here is the note on it.
Problem:
The DRUM and TONER cartridges are not installed correctly. Web page indicates replace %0 empty cartridges. The Machine doesn't copy.
Cause:
Firmware and work-process problem.

Don t worry about cartridges. They are safe. Upgrade firmware.

www.cfusion.com has the spare parts for that tv. it sounds like it is the mainboard. shouldn't be more than 150-200 to replace.

This is known as SLEEP MODE problem.
Simple solutions:
1. Get a power surge protector / strip.
2. Plug your TV power cord to the power surge.
3.Then turn-on your TV using the remote control. Just in case it won't go all the way to normal state.
4. Turn-off the switch of your power surge like 5 times with an interval of 3-5 seconds.
5. Then repeat step 3 and 4.
6. These step is done to over-ride the sleep mode.

The problem is cause by the transformer on LIPS inverter (Power supply + Inverter board). You could see an obvious burn on the 1 of these transformers ( There are total 3 black transformer on this board). The part number is 4302H. Reset the tv and the cable or satalite boxes,replug it back an hour later let the tv reset it self back to factory setting and the boxes upgrade it software.The tv should work now.Not,than yes.It the Tuner main board.
