SOURCE: My Kodak ESP 3 all-in-one printer will not print

you may try to clean the printhead and recalibrate the printer. if this will not correct the problem, you need to replace the printhead. I suggest contacting Kodak technical support to have a replacement printhead.

The following may work: remove all the ink supplies. Remove the printhead and soak it for about 5 minutes in 0.5" of very hot water. Gently blot the printhead on a soft damp paper towel to remove the excess water, then replace in the printer and then reinstall the ink supplies.

Printer not printing clearly

There should be a icon on the printer properties where you can do a little maintenance on the print heads, etc. Also take the cartridges out and dab the head onto a tissue and check the ink that appears. Do a factory reset if there is a place to do it on this model. Finally as a last resort, deinstall and reinstall.

I have cleaned, and calibrated my printer, it has brand new ink and it's still printing lines like its missing lines. Not sure exactly how to describe it. Hopefully you'll know what i mean. It's an al

If you do not print weekly with a Kodak printer, the ink can dry inside the heads and they stop printing or start missing lines that cannot be fixed by using the kodak cleaning cycle. . I have had this happen to two of my Kodaks. To prevent this, if you are not using them regularly, print a test sheet weekly and you should have no problem. At this point, your best bet is to order new heads for your printers and then maintain them with weekly test prints.

How do i trick kodak esp office 2150 after refilling black ink

completely agree with you jeff! I think it just runs off of the date you put the last printer cartrige in or how many prints you have ran with it in. theres a little "microchip" thing on the front of the cartriges that if you switch that out with one off of a new cartrige, your old one will still work fine. but then you only have a certain amount of time/prints that will still come out of your new cartrige if you switch it back after the old cartrige is depleted. If you even deplete the whole old cartrige before the printer decided that the chip on that one is too old or printed too many pages...complete BS, I dont think I have ever been this mad at company before, and I will never ever buy another kodak product again!!!

The black on my Kodak ESP-3 has stopped working

The black print head nozzles maybe blocked.

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent blocked print head nozzles. You may have blocked print head nozzles.
Try the printer maintenance to clear the printer nozzles.
After several deep cleaning attempts and there is no improvements in the print then a new print head is required.
A new print head maybe expensive and it maybe more cost effective to purchase a new printer.

Kodak esp 5 will not print in black anymore. It had a 3/4 full black cartridge in when it stopped but I installed a new one to to make sure and it still will not work. I have used all of the self...

Sounds like print head needs replacing, try the troubleshooting guide on Kodak website, appears to be a common problem with these Kodak printers, if new it should be covered under warrenty although if not they are expensive
