Open washer's cover and look for a released or a malfunction shock absorber. Good luck!

SOURCE: severe vibration on spin

tilt the machine back and check that the blue clips that secure the suspension legs to the base are in place and both the legs are secured top and bottom.

SOURCE: Frigidaire was tub makes loud thump noise during spin cycle....

Need more information to make an accurate diagnosis, try removing the front panel (two screws at bottom) and visually check first the belt (all the way around) and then the springs that hold the tub suspended.
I would bet on the belt.

SOURCE: Loud noise on spin cycle

most common cause for this is pump bearing on water pump. remove belt and attempt to turn pump by hand. if it grinds get a new pump.

SOURCE: indesit WIB111 vibrates excessively on a spin

It sounds as if one or more of the drum supports, which are springs or shock absorbers, have become detached or are in some way damaged. You would need to take the back and top off the machine to check this. Otherwise you will have to call a service engineer.

Alternatively, if this is a brand new machine, the reason is that the transportation fixings have not been removed. These are typically two or more steel rods that hold the drum in place, and have to be removed when the machine is installed, and before it is used, If they are not removed there is no damping of vibration as the drum is not free to move on its flexible supports.

I have a maytag washier and it is working but it makes a lot of noise -it sounds like jam Model number is MAV2755AWW Serial number is 27422854JT

Your Maytag washer may vibrate or make some noise during normal operation. If vibration and noise are excessive, however, you'll need to troubleshoot the problem. The two main reasons for such an issue are overloading and nonlevel installation. Overloading can be corrected by putting less clothing into the washer before you run a cycle. It can be corrected mid-cycle by removing clothing articles from the washer mid-cycle. It's also very important that you make sure that your washer is located on a firm, completely level surface. Otherwise it may create severe vibration and noise, possibly even enough to damage the machine or nearby items.
