Use the fiber optic connection. Some TVs have this. All your programming inputs will sound. Matt of Martins TV Repair.

SOURCE: Cannot turn TV off when playing CD's with samsung HT-X810R/LG50PG

Problem traced to Samsung's Anynet+ System interacting with LG's Simplink. They seem to be
compatible. Cured by Menu/Option/Simplink/OFF. Hope this helps with anyone else having this problem. trev6.

SOURCE: Gurus, I just bought Samsung Home Theater System which i connected to my Hitachi TV with HDMI cable. I have a Optical Cable going from HT to my TV Optical port. I have another connection from my cable

On the remote control for the Samsung Home Theater System look at the bottom left to a button that says "MODE", those moods change the sound each speaker gives off. if that doesn't work, you might need new wiring because there are other wires that are more durable than the ones that come with it, much better too.

SOURCE: i have the tvee soundbar

It is not latching on to the soundbar transmitter. Is the locked light on the device turning on.
Wireless devices are sometimes known to drift. Is the sub silent when the soundbar power is off ?. Even then if its making this sound, the subwoofer amplifier is oscillating at very low frequency. You will need professional help and needs to be repaired.

SOURCE: Hi.How can I connect SHARP HT-SB400 sound bar

You should be able to connect these but you'll need some extra adapters/converters/cables. The Sharp HT-SB400 has analog audio inputs (http://www.sharp.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/gb/hs.xsl/-/html/product-details.htm?product=HTSB400&cat=10500 ). The Samsung UE40C6000 LED TV has a digital (optical) output and a headphone jack (http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/led-tv/UE40C6000RKXXU-spec ).

With a RCA (F/F) to 3.5 mm (M) adapter, you may be able to connect the headphone audio out to your sound bar directly. This is an example: http://www.cyberguys.com/product-details/?productid=4730 . I'm not sure if this will automatically disable the TV speakers.

The other option is to get a digital audio to analog audio converter. One of these is http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Audio-Analog-Converter/dp/B0013LWK3A . You'll also need the optical digital cable in addition to the RCA audio cable that you have. With this you'll have to follow the manual for turning on the digital audio output on the TV (under the Sound menu) and turn off the TV speakers.

I hope this helps.

Trying to connect Sharp 180W 2.1 Soundbar and Wired Sub HT-SBW110 to my luxor TV and no sound coming out of the bar

You may have to go into the TV's menu under "sound" and manually switch it there. Good luck.

Sorry i am french, can not get sound from my sound bar sharp connected to my LG tv I think i dont know how to connect it all together... That´s mean the receiver, play station, blue ray sharp and the Sub ?...

I'm no good at French, but perhaps you manage anyway.
I used this on Google "sharp HT-SL70 manual" because I don't know the French word for manual. I did find manuals form Sharp in different languages, but not in French. So perhaps you try this yourself. Don't open the first links, where it says manuals on line, because they want to install malware. Only open the Sharp links where you already see PDF in front.

I have an jbl soundbar and a sharp hd tv. After we connected the sound bar we no longer got a picture or sound.

The two brands should be compatible, and plugging the sound bar in should not affect the picture...either the tv chose that particular moment to go bad, or you plugged the soundbar into the wrong place...look for "audio out" connectors on the tv (should be RCA connectors)...

Can not get sound when connecting a samsung HW f355 soundbar to a sharp aquos 4k tv

There should not be any problem in connecting this TV to Sound Bar. Check all the connections. Contact any service technician to seek help in this matter. Refer the user manuals to both the sets.

Connecting a sound bar

Typically you will connect the RCA audio output jacks to the audio input jacks on the sound bar, but if your television does not have RCA audio output, you may have to buy additional hardware to make the soundbar work. If your TV has a headphone jack, then you will need to purchase an 1/8" Headphone connector to RCA Connector cable from a local electronics or audio store. If your TV doens't have any audio outputs, you may need to purchase a digital tuner box and connect it to your TV and soundbar.

Connect a Sharp TV to Sharp sound bar

Call a local custom audio/video installer that can help you for a small fee. It's okay to pay a professional and get the right help. It shouldn't cost you more than $50 at most, but probably half that amount since it's a very simple connection.
