Ensure the HDMI cable is connected from the recorder to your TV/Monitor. Ensure you are tuned to the right HDMI input if your TV/Monitor has more than one. Try replacing the HDMI cable, to see if you have a faulty cable. Try connecting the recorder to another HDMI input or a 2nd TV/Monitor.
hello friend. idont known much about this night owl model dvr.but i can suggest small technique which we use i n chinese dvr.open the dvr look for 2030 small battery fixed in the board remove it .start your dvr reset to factory setting once then insert the battery again.i hope your dvr is ready.
