I have had the same problem with my nokia N73. Please check your SMS center number if it corresponds with the network you using, and that it has the complete digits typed in. And also, try to communicate with your network oprator to get your SMS center number. Good luck

i had the same problem and i could not find any source to solve it. At the end I found a way to solve this naked problem. I put the the simcard to another mobile and send a message to any number and it was sent. And then ı had delete the mobile center number and retype again and save. And then take sim card out and put it in the Iphone... The happyy End.. :)))) its start to sending the messages... HURRAYYYYYYYYY :)))))))))

The problem might be with the msg centre no feeded in your message settings. It might have got deleted by mistake. Please rate the solution. Thank You

you need to format your phone so that you can receive messages again...input this code *#7370# and then click yes...enter your security code...after that your phone will reboot...it will automatically on..so please wait until the phone open..after that enjoy texting again..hope this will help you

I used the yahoo mesenger i cant see send and recieve messages its all blank..

To send messages you just have to.

Click ACTIONS on the top menu bar of your yahoo messenger.
On the drop down menu under ACTIONS, click SEND INSTANT MESSAGE
there you will be asked to choose between MY CONTACTS, click my contacts if the one you'll be sending a message with is on your yahoo list otherwise click OTHER CONTACT
If you choose MY CONTACT, just click the contact you will be sending the message and click OK.
If you choose OTHER CONTACT, on the box type in the messenger ID of the person you want to send an instant message to then click OK.

In receiving messages, it will automatically pop out on your screen. If you are not logged in, you still can read messages that been sent to you via offline messages which will automatically pop out the moment you logged back in again.

I cant send text messages, keep coming back as failed, i have recently started using this phone and the sim is out of my old phone, ican make and receive calls and can receive calls.

Hi the problem you are having is with the message center number as you have changed the sim card the chances are the phone was with a different network and still has these settings installed.

all you need to do is contact your service provider and tell them the make and model of your phone then tell them you need to set up the message center number as you cant send messages and also ask them to send you the latest wap and mms settings, these will allow you to send and receive picture and video messages and also access the net.

your service provider wont charge you for sending all this to you and they will send them via text message after they have given you the correct message center number, this will then update your phone to the correct settings and then you will be able to use your phone as it should be used.

In your Message settings ,there is an Option called as reply via same centre ,please put that to NO.Then check weather You can send the messages.

follow the steps to go to that option

Menu--->Messages---->messagse settings---->Text messages---->Reply via same centre.

My tmobile Nokia 6301 cannot recieve txt mess from At&t carriers.

Let's contact the service provider and ask them for the message centre number valid to you. If the messages can't be send it is the problem dealing with your service provider.So contact them as soon as possible.
