Hi, If I am not mistaken, your spring called a Idler spring should mount to the motor mount and the other end to the idler arm. But if you do not remove the drum from the dryer it will be hard to see how to re-install the spring. Remove the drum to make your task easier for your self.

Don't know what your series number is. but this dryer has two diff gas valve assemblys The older style wire in type coils are more complicated than the newer style. These coils must be stacked precisely like the old ones. The newer ones require no wiring so they simply plug in and are very easy to replace. If you have a dead dryer and the door switch is fine look for duct fuses. Depending on your serial number their could be more than one of these.
