No tv picture is black around it and does get full picture...it is Westinghouse 32 in hdmi

I have had this problem now for about six months with my Niko OPT-3211W. After replacing the Inverter card, VIT70002.00 as suggested nothing changed. I then read that it may be a couple of capacitors in the power supply, but I do not have the skills needed to replace them, nor do I want to pay to fix it. The solution is simple... turn on the TV and wait two to five minutes, then turn off the main power. I suggest using a power strip. Then turn the power back on in two to five seconds. The TV will come back on and it works great from then on. I thought that it was a freak thing, but it keeps working.

Ur tv the LCD inverter board it dead.The LCD inverter is the board that help the LCD screen panel to get a backlight to produce a picture,the LCD inverter board is dead and it not working anymore that why u only get 8 sec.of the picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish LCD inverter board for the replacement.It a long board in shape.

Reset the tv and the cable or satalite boxes,replug it back an hour later let the tv reset it self back to factory setting and the boxes upgrade it software.The tv should work now.Not,than yes.It the Tuner main board.
