Power supply is the suspect on this one. You will have to isolate the power supply in the unit and check the voltages on the input and the output side to verify it is or is not the problem.
This sounds like what may be causing it is the cable going from the tv to the receiver box. If it is only happening on the sat channels, you know that it's not the tv. I would replace the cable, if that does not work, then it may be that the receiver needs to be replaced.

You can get some external HD Players that have TV out, but quality is not good. Can't you use a laptop with a Video out, or a USB Video Out? Or some DVD players have a USB port, I picked one up the other day for NZ25.00, It plays ALL DVD's and has a USB, so I can play movies from there. Solution or what?
I think the word "class action" followed buy the word LAWSUIT will have to resolve the problem. A $2300.00 T.V. with a one year warranty just doesn't make sense if it's a TO **** BA. LG offers 2 yrs. as a standard why does TO **** BA get away with One year and then the TV goes to ****. Do yourself a favor and never buy TO **** BA.
