Aficio sp4100n sc541 error

I have the exact same error. I was told this was an error to do with the thermistor of fusing unit I have replaced the fuser and still have the same error.

The fuser code needs to be reset, this can only be done by a technician, I would bite the bullet and have someone come and reset the code also if you kept the old fuser unit you may be able to get them to replace the thermistors also for not much more.

Press total clear press 1 0 7 and press for more off 3 second the clear stop key to enter to service program mode.
Then enter SP 5-810 (SC code reset),
select execute, select close. Exit
SP mode, turn the main power
switch off then on.

sc 541=Heating roller thermistor error (Fusing unit).
The thermistors could be dirty or damaged.
The fusing unit can be removed and inspected(without removing any screws)(Left door)(lower handle).
If you see any damage you might have to replace the unit(or only the part if u r lucky).

SC541 is a Fusing thermistor open (center) The temperature of the hot roller remained below 0oC for 5 sec at the center of the hot roller. Fusing thermistor out of its position because of incorrect installation. Fusing thermistor disconnected or defective power supply not within rated range (15% or more below rating). Try cleaning or replacing the thermistors and reset code in service mode.

Problem is sc541

This is a fusing unit error code. Most likely one or both of the thermistors have failed. The fusing unit is the part that gets hot just before the paper exits the machine. The thermistors are the electronic parts in the fusing unit that monitor the temperature of the unit. This code means that the thermistors are either not "seeing" or reading any heat from the unit or for some reason the heater lamps are not coming on. In most all cases it is the thermistor/s that have gone bad and are not reading heat properly. You will need a service technician to replace these. Should be less than $200 repair.

hello sir; you need to reset, following the steps as below;
press "clear mode" then enter107 then press and hold down "clear/stop" key about 3 sec. or more, then turn power off and back on .
