Look it up in the manual - probably a menu command

It still is not recognizing any memory card. Takes picture to internal memory but won't recognize any card.

SOURCE: My Kodak P850 do not accept SD cards 4 or 8GB,

Technically speaking, SD cards only go up to 2GB. (Actually, some very rare 4GB SD cards exist, but I doubt you have one of those.) Cards 4GB and up are SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) cards. Your camera was designed before the SDHC specs, and thus is not compatible with SDHC cards. This is not something that can be changed in firmware, since there is a hardware compatibility issue.

SDHC devices will accept SD cards, but the opposite does not hold true. SD devices will not accept SDHC cards.

SOURCE: Easy Share P850 lost eyecup

According to Kodak, the rubber eyepiece is not available for purchase, you have to send it to them to get it fixed...I would try to take it to a local camera repair shop and let them do it.

SOURCE: Reference Kodak P850 digital Camera I need

There is no such a book. But I thought you will need at least a detailed manual. And this is a very good manual indeed. You can download it from this link.

I hope it helps.

SOURCE: kodak easy share cd83 memory card is protected

Take a look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

SOURCE: Kodak P850: Pressing the shutter button turns camera off

Spray WD40 or contactspray in the shutterbutton. First remove the battery.
The switch underneath is causing the trouble. Also spray round the powerswitch
and work both switches a number of times

No. The P850 works with MMC and SD cards, 2GB or smaller. It will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

I can't download from my kodak easy share p850 to my computer

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Memory card not recognised

The P850 is specified to use SD cards, not SDHC cards. SD cards max out at 2GB.
