Hi please assist, I have Samsung scx 4623f printer, my issue is when i scan doc it doesnt have an option to save files with pdf format.

In windows, Scx 4216f comes with Samrthru3 which does not come with pdf scan option , however you can use the newer verasion of smarthru4 which is available with scx4100/scx4521f .
All you need to do is choose Scx4216f as the device in smarthru window. and you will be able to scan in PDF format.

Will be quite simple.

You have to scan with Adobe Reader in order to scan and save a pdf

I used a program called SmarThru 4 with the same printer-scanner. Works. Give it a try :).

To scan in PDF, you must have a PDF scanner please download and install a program like scantoPDF or others that you can use, like, NitroPDF, or Adode Professional, Either that or you can simply convert the JPG, to a PDF, with a printer, a virtual printer that "Prints" PDF, as PDF is a printing format, and it is done in software. So there is Print2PDF, PDFPro, and many others that will scan and print also you can get a PDF plugin for MS WORD as well.
