Rover 75 2.0 td wont start starts with easy start wont run without it

hi
stop using easy start cos it will polish the cylinder bores and you will lose compression.
you need to do a compression test first and remove / test the gloplugs.
If the compressions are low it will require a rebuild

I connect my alpine cva 1003 to valor dv-169T dvd player. sounds come out but the screen is not getting connected to dvd player. i connect red, white and yellow wires.

if evrything is ok with the dvd (make sure the dvd is working fine), you need to hook up the yellow/ blue wires and yellow / black wires one for parking breack and the other for the breack chek the diagram on top of the alpine radio .

Alarm and interior light draining battery

Without testing it's hard to say. Try changing the small battery in the immobiliser, if equipped. This may or may not work.

No sound with USB and IPOD Apline IDA-X100

You connected your blue alpine wire (power antenna) to your blue wire (amplifier remote on) on the BMW harness adapter. You need to undo this, amputate your blue alpine wire (because your E36 has no power antenna) and connect the alpine blue wire with white stripe (remote power) to your blue wire on the harness adapter.

When you switch source from the radio, alpine is shutting off your amplifier through the connected power antenna wire. Since you're not listening to the radio anymore, it sees no reason why it should give it power.

Alpine car cd player has no volume

It's possible that you have a shorted speaker wire. If one of the speaker wires is pinched, grounded or shorted it will cause the deck's internal amplifier to shut down. The easiest way to check is with a multimeter's resistance function. Remove the CD player and unplug it. Set your multimeter for "resistance" or "continuity". Attach the black probe to chassis ground; you can use the black ground wire in the deck's harness, clean dash metal, or the outer ring of your cigarette lighter. Use the red probe to test each of the speaker outputs in the harness: white, gray, green and violet. If you find a speaker wire that shows any continuity with chassis ground, then that's the cause of the problem. A speaker with a damaged voice coil may also cause the deck to shut down. To test this, probe the positive and negative leads of each speaker and test the resistance between them. For example, to test the left front speaker you'd put the red probe on the white wire and the black probe on the white/black wire. Each speaker should read a minimum of 3 ohms of resistance. If you get a lower reading then it might be causing your problem. If you don't find a problem with any of the speaker wires, then chances are the deck's internal amplifier has failed.
