My Dewalt DC011 has now got another fault. Recently had the internal transformer changed under warranty. But now have noticed after using it for a couple of weeks olugged it in and it started making a...

The original problem that damaged the internal transformer was not resolved. The transformer may be damaged again - it is used in the AC circuit but not in the battery. They are two different circuits. The red led is part of the AC. I would contact Dewalt and send it back explaining what happened. The part they replaced should be under warranty.

My Dewalt dc911 charger works but no sound?

Try and plug something in the aux. If you don't hear sound out of the aux when you plug something like your cd player in then your speaker cables have come off the circuit board or the out put transistor has gone on the radio. Sell on Ebay these go for a good price faulty.
