How can I get my refrigerator to run or restart

5Y CF indicates a communication error between the refrigerator control board and the user interface (display panel). When the refrigerator was powered up, its self-test didn't complete properly. The wiring harness, the user interface or the main control board could have damage. Make sure that all of the wiring connections are fully seated first and then check the individual wires for continuity. Then you have to check the user interface and main control board by testing and replacing them. If your refrigerator is under warranty, get Electrolux to send a technician to test the refrigerator.

From what you have described the replace air filter light on your Electrolux refrigerator continues to stay lit. I see that you disconnected power from it for a minute and the light was still lit. I would recommend performing a power reset on it and you can do that by unplugging for at least ten minutes. That will allow all of the power to drain out of the refrigerator for a full restart. If that does not work there may be an issue with the control panel of your refrigerator and a technician may need to be contacted for proper disassembly of your refrigerator. From my understanding your Electrolux refrigerator is beeping and the power fail display continues to appear. Based off the information you have provided you could have a potential issue with your control panel or thermostat within your refrigerator. I would recommend performing a reset on your refrigerator and you can do that by unplugging the power cord or flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. From what you have described the control panel on your Electrolux dishwasher is locked and will not allow you to operate it. Could you please provide me with your model number? You can locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the inside wall of your dishwasher. Does the unit sound like it is producing ice and never does? Or does it continue to run whether you have ice or not?

frigidare 36' side by side. makes ice, nothing comes out of the door dispenser, auger truns. prior to this it would only give crushed ice even if set on cubes

I've got the same problem. I've unplugged the fridge and pushed every button I can think of...nothing changes. Please help, someone!

Hi Chaps,
I have an 18 month old Electrolux Gas oven model No: EOG7330XN which worked for 14 days then died. There was no power displaying and I called Electrolux to service within the warranty period. The engineer removed the front control panel and replaced a fuse inside which brought it back to life.
Am I right this is possible, I have removed the panel but can't see any fuses?
