This should help with the 4 buttons:
Push the button Lower left and hold it for 2 seconds and you
will see a number flash. This is for the alarm setting.
Push the same button again and a new screen with the time
comes up and the seconds are flashing.
Push the top right button again and the minutes will be flashing.
Push the top right again and the hours will be flashing
Push the lower right one time and the time moves ahead 1
hour
Push the lower right again for the next hour and the time
moves again. Do this as many times as you want to change the hours. Each time
you reach 12:00 the screen will change the “A” and “P” to tell you if you are
in AM or PM. Time.
You can set the minutes in the same way as you do the hours
by pushing the lower right (set) button. The when done push the lower left to
stop the set-up
After you set the time or the alarm, push the lower left
button again to stop the set-up.

he following labels are on the inner ring of the watch; I've given
their positions relative to where numbers would be on the face of an
analog watch.
"ST/STP" is at 2:00; "EL" is at 4:00; "MODE" is at 8:00; and "ADJ" is at 10:00.
To set the time, date, and day of week:
Press and hold in the "MODE" button until the display starts flashing. (This is the alarm time.)
Press the "MODE" button again; the seconds begin flashing. Press "ADJ" to set them to zero.
Press the ""ST/STP" button to change what you want to set. The
options appear in this order each time you press the "ST/STP" button:
minutes, hour, month, day, day of week.
Use the "ADJ" button to change the value of the setting.
Touch "MODE" to save the settings and return to time mode.
The website listed below has many instruction sheets, but does NOT have instructions for this watch as of 25 December 2008.

SOURCE: How to set an Armitron watch. Can't set the days correctly.
mcdevito75 here, The stem has 2 positions, Carefully slip a fingernail under the stem and lift, it may take a few trys to get used to it, in this first position you should be able to set the DATE very easily and Maybe the DAY of the wwek also, turn the stem 1 way to change the DATE and the other way For the DAY of the week., Let"s figure you can only set the DATE in this first position, First thig to do is set the DAY of the week, go thru the watches 24 hour cycle and set the DAY to 1 DAY before the DAY you need, now in that first position of the stem, set the DATE to 1 DATE before the DATE you need, now in the 2nd position we all know pull the stem out to set the time of day, go thru the 24 hour cycle to bring up the DAY of the week and DATE you need. Now your watch is set and will change on tome at around mid-nite.
