To remove the door on the LRE3023ST, fully open the door. Pull the hinge locks down towards the door frame to the unlocked position; you may find a flat blade screwdriver helps to lever the locks to start the process. Grasp the door at the sides near the top with both hands. Tilt the door up to about 5 degrees from the closed position. Lift the door up and out until the hinge arm clears the slot where the hinge point locks onto the oven frame on both sides. Put the door down.

This is shown on page 32 of the Owner's Manual. LG has this on the product support page: https://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-LRE3023ST#manuals . The direct link to the manual seems to be http://gscs-b2c.lge.com/downloadFile?fileId=KROWM000460684.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Instructions on how to remove the cover from a wall mount LG LMV2073 mic oven?

On my GE, if you open the door, there are screws to remove that will allow the cover to be removed. When it quit working, I had to show the guy how to remove it. He thought he had to take it all the way down. Turned out to be the fuse (which I could not see when I had it opened) so he charged me half the cost to come out because I had to show him how to open it

My lg microwave fan starts when I open the door

Maybe not (unless it cooks when the door is opened) but any defect needs to be addressed!

I would suspect a problem with a door switch or mount. The door switch help file is here.

If we knew what your model number was, we could possibly give you a link to the service manual.

So we can only give you generic help.

See these links before proceeding:
http://031d26d.namesecurehost.com/mwd/safety.txt
http://031d26d.namesecurehost.com/mwd/disassembly.txt

Here's a YouTube video showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

If this is not enough to help, then please post a new help request with your full model number from the tag in or on the oven, and detailed symptoms.

How to remove and replace handle on over the stove microwave oven. Model # LMV1680DW

The door handle can easily be replaced on MOST microwave ovens by removing the inner door panel that goes around the perimeter of the glass. The following link explains how to access and replace the door handle:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3696942-microwave_oven_door_handle_replacement

The average cost for a replacement handle (if required) usually runs about $20 - $40. Replacements may be purchased at the websites listed in the link I provided. Several of these sites also have helpful exploded view parts illustrations to assist you with parts identification and how disasemble/reassemble your appliance.

The door handle is a simple repair that can be done with the door in place, or with the door removed. You do not have to uninstall the oven if this is an over the range model.

NOTE: If you wish to remove the door, all you need to do on most models is open the door all the way and lift straight up at the hinges. You may have to remove the grille cover located above the door on some models to accommodate being able to lift the door.

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

I have a LG microwave oven model LMVM2075SB. It's

We just finished replacing the touchpad on the same model microwave. Several of the numbers and other controls on the pad stopped responding to touch.

You could have the same problem. These touchpads seem very fragile to me.

The touchpad itself was only $25.00 plus shipping. The pad is attached with adhesive and pulls off when heat from a hair dryer is applied to the pad. The new one comes with new adhesive and is fairly easy to attach. The problem arises when you have to connect the wiring from the touchpad to the microwave's circuitry. There is a circuit board in the door which this wiring connects to, and the door has to be disassembled to get to this board. The door components are held together with the two screws that hold the handle on, and numerous plastic tabs.

I would guess that it took us about 2 hours to do the job. Most of the time involved removing the door, disassembling it, and reassembling it.

Everything works perfectly now.

Very simple I thought- Cleaning the inside of the glass on oven.

Don't have one here at home to look at, but the best way to go about that would be to remove the door from the range to work on in on a table, allowing access to any screws at the bottom of the door for disassembly and easier reassembly. To remove door: open oven door. Use a small screwdriver to poke in the small rectangular hole on the hinge and flip down the little lever toward the door. It is mostly hidden at the top of the rectangular hinge opening in the range frame. (do both hinges) Now with the levers down (locking the door hinge) you can lift and pull the door a bit, removing the door and hinge in one unit from the range body. Sounds more difficult than it is. It really only takes 10 seconds. To replace the door, just reverse procedure, remembering to flip the little levers back up after attaching door to range frame.

Door outer plastic plate slide down an inch from the top

You would probably need a service manual, for which you can contact LG at 1-800-243-0000 or http://us.lgservice.com

Or locate a local servicer:
http://us.lgservice.com/gcsc/b2c/hpi/main

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the screws you need to remove.
