This is very hard to explain on the internet. So to answer your question honestly very friggin carefully. Go to an audio shop and ask them. Talking to them is free. Dont have to buy anything as long as you habe the base the new plug and your ready to get sweaty messing with wires for an hour. Oh. Some people set up the audio with the radio playing music some ppl dont. Its a choice thing but if its raining and stuff dont do it tht day.

did you check all of the fuses in th vehicle?

are you getting power to both the yellow and red wires?????

Chances are the amplifier in the cd player itself is burned out . I would try testing it either in another vehicle or take it to a stereo shop and have them test on their test bench.

Check the contacts on the back of the face plate, if dirty or corroded use a pencil eraser to clean them off (soft abrasion) if it is still constant then I need more info.

it sounds like you have a short on two of your speaker wires just connecy front speakers and try then rear then left then right to prove which one or ones
