WD40 is poisonous. The smell will permiate into your food. It also evaporates so any benefit would be short lived. WD40 was never designed as a lubricant and will turn any residual oil or grease to sludge.
Use a silicone lubricant designed for food equipment.
WD-40 is fine. Remember that it's a petroleum based product, so you need to just spray it on the rollers. Use rubbing alcohol to clean up any overspray so you don't contaminate any food that goes in the drawer.
WD 40 is good for this but it is not designed for a problem like that. WD means Water Displacer and it works best to lubricate things that are subject to wet conditions before damage has occurred.

you will need to remove the front and get to the slides clean them off and buy a low temp silcone to apply to tem do not buy grease apply it and work it in the problem will go away

yea find it hard to believe that a product would be built this way!!, without looking at it would imagine that the tracks going back on both sides are too close together, which usually happens when the unit is mishandled upon delivery, a quick call to an authorized servicer will correct problem( it is a warr issue any way, and from the sound of it hell have a lot of warr work in your development

Once I saw that the drain tube went up over the coil before draining into the evaporator pan I decided to buy a small piece of flexible plastic tubing and re-route the tube so the water could freely flow down hill. It's been over two months with no additional problems. I can assume that since the water drains freely it doesn't stay trapped in the elbow freeze and the cause the collector tray to ultimately overflow.

You have a clogged defrost drain tube. On the back of the refrigerator in the center, about two feet above the floor, is a 7 inch by 7 inch square steel cover held on by four screws, one at each corner. The defrost drain tube emerges from the bottom of this cover and terminates loose in the drain pan below the refrigerator. Remove the cover. Underneath is the plastic defrost drain tube fixture, which is held by two screws. Remove the screws and take off the drain tube fixture. This fixtue is clogged. Run hot water and dish detergent through it and blow through it at the big end to remove the clog. Reassemble. That's it. You don't have to take the refrigerator apart. One caution. When the refrigerator has a clogged drain tube, the defrost water will back up and freeze around it. So you may need to empty your freezer and unplug the refrigerator for eight hours or so first before you perform this procedure to allow all the ice around the clogged drain fixture to melt.

Silicone bath/shower sealant should work, the one that smells like vinegar. Also known as RTV.
Just make sure the area is dry, clean and free of old caulk.
It'll need to be at room temperature to set properly for a few hours.
I have used this sealant on things before that went as low as
-50C. Preperation is the key though.
