Samsung's are notorious for having ice maker and defrost issues
If unit over 5 years probably needs new ice maker make sure it’s getting cold energy for ice maker to run
valve needs to be replaced. it is located in the back, just follow the water line to it. to shut off water there is eaither a shutt off behind ref or in the basement. again try to fallow the water line

1) Electric Water valve check up.
2) Water/Ice dispenser control check up
3) frozen plastic pipe inside door or/and chilled water container frozen
4) old water filter (clogged)

the ice maker unit prob' bad and if you sure it is on and the flag is not stoping it from runing you might need a new unit but there are other tests you can do before..
