My lg tv will not let me get channel 41 which is fox news. It says it is scrambled but i was getting it earlier also my baseball channel 66 is scrambled so my question is how do i unscranble these channels??

It sounds as though the closed captioning has some how gotten turned on. Not all programs are closed caption supported so the box will not show on every channel nor will it necessarily be on the same channel all day. Go into the menu on the tv and ensure the CC option is turned off. You may have to go into set up or preferences to locate the CC portion of the menu. Channel numbers depend on the station, not your TV. Check the channel listings in your local paper for channel assignments.

You can also go to www.antennaweb.org and click on the "choose an antenna" button. This brings up a page that asks for your address. It wants this information to pinpoint your location, but all you need to give is your zip code. Continue through the next couple of screens and you will get a list of all the stations in your area and their distances. The channel number information is there as well.

Sounds like you haven't retuned the set correctly. Use the factory settings/ default setting if poss. Look out for too much signal if you are on a booster.

Not a solution...but an "answer". First, you should call the tech support number and talk to them; but others have posted on this site (and I'm about to) that they're having the same problem (mine won't get cbs or abc stations). I was told, as was another poster on this site, that 'some tvs just don't tune into some stations).

Even though the tvs have built-in ACTS and a NCTS tuner (for analog and hd) they don't always work with external (rabbit ear) antenna.

ANother poster to fixya wrote that she's returning her set to Target...where mine was also purchased. I'm going to ahve to box up ours also and return it, a shame since it was a gift!
