If its an android system you should see SYM (BOLS) in the bottom left corner when you have the keyboard displayed.
Failing that you may have to change the keyboard in Settings

Switch ON the PC, boot the PC in 'Safe Mode' by continuously tapping F8 button after you switch On.
Let windows boot in Safe Mode and log in to windows.
Go to 'Start'--->Programs--->Accessories--->System Tools--->System Restore
Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time' and click Next Now you will find one Month Calendar window with Dates below, go to the previous month by clicking the '<' sign in the upper left hand corner of the Month Calendar and select any date that you see in Bold.
The detail of that particular date should show "System Checkpoint" and time on the right hand side box. Select that date.
Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start and windows will take a reboot. After reboot your problem should be resolved.
Try to boot and at start up press f-10 this should boot to a list of start up options if you have not tryed this boot to last good known confiruration, this will take you to the last place your computer was running before it crashed .the hypen or cursor may indicate the harddrive has crashed and you may need to reinstall the os Good luck
That shows you that the problem is not your monitor
but your operating system is not booting or is hung
turn off your computer & restart pressing F2 as soon as it starts to boot up select open in last known configurationto see if the O/System will know boot up

It sounds like a problem loading the operating system. Try booting from an installation CD to see if anything comes up... if it loads from the CD, there could be a problem with your hard drive. When it turns on, try entering the BIOS by pressing the correct key (usually DEL, F10, F12, or F2) Make sure that the boot device is set to your hard drive. If you do this and it loads with an error saying 'insert boot media' or 'boot device failed' you'll have to either try fixing your boot sector (which can get tricky, but I'll walk you through it if you really want to attempt it) or a much easier fix, reinstall the operating system.
The computer is looking for boot information on your DVD drive for some reason.
Do not boot the computer with any disc in the drive, and see what happens.
