I have a kyocera duraxt with a cracked screen and cant get text messages

Steps to delete an entire text conversation on your Kyocera Rise

1. From the home screen, tap the Messages icon.
2. Tap and hold the message thread.
3. Tap the Trash can icon.
4. Tap Delete.
5. You've now deleted the message thread.

8. Return to your Home screen and then open the email app.Compose a new message to yourself and paste the messages you want to print.Tap"Send".
9. Open the email on any computer connected to a printer and then click "File," and choose "Print".
10. Then you have successfully print your message from Kyocera Hydro.

Your time zone could be set incorrectly (if you are not on automatic for date and time and time zone). I don't have a DuraXT, but on the Hydro XTRM you would go to Settings, then scroll down to "Date & time" and press that to access your settings for time zone. Hope that helps!

Try to check with Kyocera's website to see if there is a software update for your phone. If not, make sure no water damage has been done to the phone or if you have dropped it this can cause it as well. Dial *228 then reset your phone (turn it off then back on) try that, if that does not work try calling your phone company to get a replacement phone at no cost because it sounds like a Manufacturer problem.
