How to activate 5,6 key on IBM Wheelwriter 50 series 2. I understand is code+llang but does not seem to work. I do not have the monitor. anyone with the manual?

Is the hammer striking with no impression? (Try something with a carbon in it to see if it prints on the copy. If it does you have a ribbon problem. If the ribbon dosen't lift try wiggling the large black gear to see if it frees up. or your ribbon may be so old that it won't transfer the ink. If the hammer is not striking the plastic cap on the print soleniod is probably broken, they are available for 15.00 but are a little tricky to install.

The delay print and justify are both on the far rt. of the keyboard pressing these keys turns the features off and on. if this dosen't do it you're keyboard is bad.

Check the ywo keyboard connectors to be sure they are plugged in fully, if they are then press & hold the code key, press & rel the "L" key type 001 then release the code key.

This will put you into the english keyboard mode. To cure the problem you need a keyboard.
