Question about Galaxy Cell Phones
White circle charging indicator on Galaxy J7
How old is the device? If it's more than 3 Years old then odds are you are looking to get a new phone. After certain amount of time the phone is going to become incompatible with the new software which means you hardware cannot communicate with the software correctly so it doesn't show a correct battery charge. Most battery problems are not even battery problems, they just seem to be. Also if you are having a problem with your phone as far is it turning off by itself or closing out apps by itself then I would also look and see how full your storage is. If your storage gets to full then your phone will just quit working, because it needs some Storage to run the programs.

Please describe what "Completely went dead" means.
Did it fully Power Off?
Did you have to hold the Power button down for a while to get the phone to go through a Restart?
Did the phone come back on when you pressed the Side button?
A little more detail, please

SOURCE: w850 flashing
Does the flashing screen is it works or not? If it works its the LCD thats making the flashing if it dosent its the software problem. If check that... try charging it.. if its charged its not the software problem..The LCD can be changed from a phone shop or tecnical shop and if you have some skills you can change it yourself but its best to bring it to the shop.
Hope this help!

I too had this problem with my NC10, and i found that on the back, the little slider holding on the battery casing was not in the locked position. As soon as I locked the slider, the problem was solved and has not occurred again.Might not be the case for all these posts above, but worth checking your before having to get involved with customer services etc.
