I domt see any adjustment to slip the new drive belt on my dewalt 735 planer

Check to see if the pulley has a screw in the end holding on the outer flange of the pulley. Some models have to remove this and slide the new belt on then refit the flange.

How do I replace the blade guard on a Dewalt DC390K saw

Remove the clip behind the back blade flange holding it on to the housing and lift it up of the return spring, replace the opposite way remembering to relocate the return spring. Make sure you get the model number correct as the 390 and 390k are different.

Oil leaking out exhaust flange

Hey Daryl,
This sounds a little scary...
.. Seems as though you may have cracked the head deep enough to get into the actual internal cavity..OR the threads and their pilot hole went too deep into the head and got into the internal cavity..
ANYWAY.. its time to do some "exploring".. do not crank the bike again until you get the help of a qualified professional!!

I have 2 DeWalt Lithium-ion batteries Apprx. 4 years old, charged 3 times...won't charge now

Either bad batteries or a bad charger. You can use a multimeter to test for DC voltage output in the charger.

On a 2001 volkswagen cabrio does the axle assembly seal on the passenger side need to be flush with the transmission? The seal on mine is about 1/2 inch out, but it is the same distance out all the way...

this should be fine, take note its not a axle seal, its the output seal to drive flange, where the axle then bolt too.correct? if so then this should be fine,as long as the output cup doesnt hit when installed, heres a diagram from factory, on this diagram the seal also doesnt sit flush but just make sure you have the correct seal, i would double check that.40156d3.gif

My 14.4 dewalt drill is not workind at all. I used only 1 year and I would like to find a shop to repair it. I live in Shepherds Bush W12

Go on the website and click on service support and then click on service center locator. You can then enter your location and it will tell you the closest repair center.

My whirlpool will not spin

What we need to do is pull the machine out 2 feet from the wall and tilt it back. This will expose all the parts we need to remove. The pump is first held on by two metal clips, pump will clip to frame arm with a screw driver through a hole for support. Next is the motor, first unplug the wire harness, maybe a white switch wire and two red wires in addition to unplug. Next there is two 1/4 inch hex screws and then the motor unclips, bottom one first. Now you can see the coupler, note how it is attached. Turn the spindle on each side lift with a screw driver to remove the flanges. To seat the new flanges I use a 1/2 deep well socket on a extension to tap flush the flanges, flush with the spindle. Now insert the rubber coupler at the gear case side and align to the motor and reverse the process and then test.
