600D/T3i online manual is basic, but you should be able to follow same steps in the 550D/T2i manual. http://static.fixya.com/Manuals/C/Canon/DAF51CA.pdf use search function.
Quantaray makes lenses with a variety of lens mounts. Assuming the lens has a Canon EF mount, it will fit onto the T3i just like any Canon lens. If it has a different mount, you'll need an appropriate lens mount adapter.
The Kiss X5 is called the EOS Rebel T3i in some parts of the world. In the T3i manual Chapter 6 beginning on page 141 is titled "Shooting Movies" and explains how to record videos with this camera.
