I have the same problem, i.e. my voice sounds distant to persons I'm calling. The headset was working fine for a year.

I can hear callers but they cannot hear me. Mute is not engaged,

Please see the link below for the User's Guide.

• Headset is muted. Long press (3 sec.) the volume down button on headset to unmute the microphone. See page 16.
• Improper positioning of voice tube. Try various other positions.
• Voice tube may be clogged. Remove voice tube and test to see if callers can hear you without it. If they can, then replace the clogged voice tube. See page 18.
• Speaking volume is too low. Increase the speaking volume by
adjusting the speaking volume minor adjust buttons on the base unit as described on page 16. If the volume is still too low, select another speaking volume major adjust setting as described on page 16.
• Incorrect configuration dial setting for your phone. Try other
phone configuration dial settings on the base unit. Ensure the
selected number is in line with the position indicator. See page 14.

Very low volume. I can hardly hear when speaking on the phone

Most phones control in call volume with a designated volume button on the side of the phone or with the directional pad on the front. With most standard phones in call volume can only be accessed while actually on a call, this means that if you push the volume up button while talking to someone your volume will increase. If it is a smart phone you can generally access in call volume from the settings menu under sound or something like that. If none of this helps it may be a speaker fault.

The person I am speaking with does not hear me (He is deaf).
The microphone function does not appear to be working. I have adjusted the volume and that's not the problem (You must speak as well).
I have plugged both jacks (microphone and speaker) into my PC hard drive and am using my PC to talk on Skype (You cant plug even a single jack in the hard drive).
Problem solved!

How do i increase the volume, i can hardly hear the other person

You may have turned the volume down. Simply get someone to call you, the use the up and down arrows on the side of the phone to adjust the volume as they speak. This mode is only available when someone is calling you, and there is nothing about it in the manual.

I have a gn9120 headset that i love. suddenly, callers are complaining that they can't hear me. Is there volume adjustment or is there a defect?

Hi,
Volume adjustment is made by depressing the two + and - together until beep is heard
once beep is heard press the + button several times until louder bleep is heard this will increase transmission from headset and cure the problem

I'm not sure how to turn up the speaker volume on my LG 990 . When i am speaking i can hardly hear anything

The user manual should include information on how to adjust speaker volumes and such. If you don't have one, go to your local sales rep and they will show you. On many cell phones you can adjust the volume DURING the call by pressing the up/down or right/left cursor. I hope this helps.

Echo when using the headset

If you are having echo problems while not on a call (you are wearing the headset, it is active, but you are not currently on the phone with anyone), there are 3 ways to counteract this: -When you are done with a call, you can click your Multifunction button on your headset (middle one inbetween the volume controls). -Move the microphone away from your mouth when you are not on a call. -A more permanent solution: decrease the sensitivity of your microphone. To do this, click and hold the increase and decrease volume buttons on your headset ( + & - ) for 3 seconds. Let the buttons up after 3 seconds and push the lower volume button 2 or 3 times. Wait 6 more seconds and it will beep at you. After you have done this, make a call to someone in the office to be sure the sensitivity has not been lowered so much that others can?t hear you.
