The phone is a 4044V Alcatel Go Flip....where is the space key

The Unlock code is the one that you or the previous owner put on it. There is no way to know what code you put on it.

The only way to fix this is to do a Factory Reset and scrub it clean of all data and reload the operating system clean with no lock code.

The A3 has Do Not Disturb, but the Flip doesn't. Your phone is very basic. Here is the manual

So not ringing is likely caused by turning the volume down to off.

The Alcatel A392A doesn't have a dedicated speaker phone button. During a call, you need to press the right soft-key (above End and below the hinge of the flip phone). This is the Handsfree option. I checked the Alcatel website <https://us.alcatelmobile.com/ > and did not find a user's manual for the 4044V model flip phone.

If you are in the USA, you may wish to check eBay to find any Alcatel 4044V model phones for sale, contact a seller or two and find out if the phone includes a user manual. If so, ask the seller if she / he would be willing to photocopy the manual and sell you the photocopied document.

You need to modify the sound settings, select Options > Customize. One of the functions available is :
Volume: Press the Left or Right Navigation key to adjust the volume using the Up or Down Navigation key or volume key on the left side of your phone.
