Why have I lost several channels on my shaw cable tv?

I hope you have a VCR! I want you to do a brief 10 minute recording of each of the stations in question then play them back on the tv using the video input jack instead of ch 3 or 4. If you have the same problem then you have just recorded the cable signal coming into your home and therefor is the cable company's responsibility to repair. Have them come out and demonstrate the tape to them. You will enjoy the look on his or her face. If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate.
By the way, I spent a lot of summers at my Aunts home in St.Catherine's as a kid. Great times.

Take out the cable signal,put ur tv in the cable mode u get a statics siginal,but can u get 100 and up in channels numbers?U hook the pay cable back u should solve the prob.

Try checking the A/V Cables. They could be Defective or loose.

I too have this issue I beleive what is happening is the integrated tuner is not locking on to the channel because of a weak signal and then sending that error message . I am going to replace the cable from the splitter to this tv and see what happens. I have another new tv just installed from that splitter and it has all chanels. Remember to RE- run the locate all channels after anything is done to the cable splitter etc.
