4) Green Slow-Flashing, Red Off = Processing Data.
5) Green Off, Red On = Cover Opened, Toner Empty or Developer Unit / Drum unit missing.
6) Green Off, Red Fast-Flashing = Paper Jam or waiting for jam reset.

8) Green Off, Red Off = Printer power is off.

Go to the menu on the printer and then scroll down to other in the menu then to service then down to maintenance and press enter. when you install the maintenace kit you have to activate developer in the service menu, then turn off the printer and then back on to run the developer unit up.
Print menumap from the printer and follow through to the service area on the display.
Any question ask me.

You have done more than 300,000 pages. I wouldnt waste your money on a Maint Kit, just stretch it out by doing the following.
Press Menu/Ok (Main menu)
Go into [>>Service]
Then press the right arrow.
Then find [>> Maintenance]
Press the ok key, then it will show [>> Maintenance?]
Press the ok key twice, and it will reset all the counts on your consumable components (Drum, Developer, Transfer Roller, ETC)
SOURCE: Kyocera FS-3900DN Ecosys Call Service 2200:0100998
The Call Service 2200 is a drum motor error. The motor or gears might need to be replaced. First remove and re-seat both the developer and the drum unit. The developer is directly under the toner cartridge - lift it up then out first, then open left side door remove the waste bin and press the button on the drum unit just above the waste bin pull the unit out (carefull not to touch the drum surface). Re-seat both units. If this does not work call in a Kyocera Tech.
The error indicates -
Engine PWB EEPROM error Detecting engine PWB EEPROM communication error.
Causes - Improper installation engine PWB EEPROM. Check the engine PWB EEPROM installation,
- Defective engine PWB. Replace the engine PWB
IF turning the printer off and unplugging then plugging back in and turning back on doesn't correct the problem I would suggest you contact an authorized Kyocera service center such as www.gfbm.net.
