Kyocera-Mita going offline

I have 4 KM-3035's, 1 KM-4035, 1 KM-5035 and 2 KM-2050's in a WAN set-up as network printers.

Soon after upgrading Svr 2003 STD to SP2 I lost the KM-5035 LAN printer. The status reads Offline. After fussing with it and not resolving the issue I installed the driver locally on the LAN PC's and there have been no problems printing in that configuration. Now 6 months later I drop one of the WAN KM-3035, sttus = offline every now and then? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks, Forrest

It sounds like there is an ip conflict... you may need to reserve an ip address just for the copier or failing that change your copiers ip address to one below the ip range... if it still has problems then I would check the network cables.... and see if you get any error codes... copier can go offline if 1. the print card is loose... bad mounting socket on the main board... ip conflict... someone else has the ip address... poor network traffic... the signals over the network cables are degrading too fast... so the copier gets a corrupt file or unfinished file and bombs out... power surge... this causes firmware corruption and the thing just starts shooting wierd error codes... I think I have given you enough to think about...

Kyocera mita 3035 is offline cannt figure out how to get it back online

If you are taking about the printer portion. Just hit the printer button on the left hand side. When the printer options pop up on the touch screen chose the option on the bottom right hand side (the GO key) of the touch screen that should bring it back online.

Hope this helps.

I need mu kyocera km 22300 installed on my network. was working before lost ip data

I can help you with this if you are in the Washington DC area. You must connect the printer to the network, then set up the server, then set up the clients. By the way, it's a KM-2230. Contact me through my website, www.inovagent.com

The printer keeps going offline. Only resolution is to un-plug the printer. How to prevent this?

Check your settings in the driver. Right click property's and check its not setup to default to work of line. If that all correct then easiest fix is to dlete driver then reload.

Kyocera Mita KM-2530 Laser Printer will only print the first page not the rest.

Try changing print driver and switch emulation to kpdl auto if not already there. If this doesn't work go to properties on driver under font and switch to bit map. Don't do this step unles yo have to it really slows down your printer.

Kyocera 4530 is reading offline

I would check the usb connection cable - maybe try a different one. 'off line' normally means that the computer can't communicate with the printer. Silly thing - check that the printer has power. I'm not trying to insult your intelligence, but sometimes it's the simple things that get missed.

Kyocera km 2050

The 2050 uses 2 network connections, one for the printer and one for the scanner.
Before I go into any great detail,
Do you have a home network? Are you using a switch?
Are you printing through the network connection or the USB/parallel port?
Are you trying to twain scan? Do you have the software CD for scanning.
If not, you will need to download the drivers from the Kyocera web site.
