JVC KD-AVX11E: blue lights come on, but screen doesn't. No sound, and eject mechanism doesn't work. Almost as if it is locked. Caused by removing facia just before the power went off. Could it be that the car's computer has locked the radio signals thinking that it's original was being stolen?
I am having the exact same problem with the screen. Have you been able to find a solution to resolve teh problem yet?I am having the exact same problem with the screen. Have you been able to find a solution to resolve teh problem yet?

Take a torch and see if there are any foreign objects in the loading compartment. Children are know to insert for coins to just about anything they can squeeze through the ****. Then try removing the system from the dash and open the top lid. see if you can clean the lens from a small cutout on the loading mechanism using a cotton ear bud. Do it in good light because the lens ( looks like a fish eye ) can oly been seen at an angle through the cutout.
No - there is no manual eject. It must be disassembled to remove the CD. Your eject mechanism or motor has failed.
Sometimes tapping on the unit or removing it completely and doing it while level frees up a jammed mechanism - but otherwise the chassis must be disassembled.
Any repair shop will do it for about $20.

I just had this problem today and when I attempted to eject the CD it would give me an error message that stated (ERR 32). Apparently this means that there is something blocking the movement of the screen, a little manipulation should help the issue. Another variable could be the Eject lock feature, essentially a "child lock" for your disc. When this lock is activated it prevents the CD in the deck to be ejected. You can change this by holding down the blue source button and the eject button simultaneously for about 2 or 3 seconds. A message should appear saying "No Eject" and one that repeatedly flashes "Eject on" These two things seemed to help me alot when I had this issue. If those things don't work I would recommend calling JVC, much to my suprise they were actually really helpful. Their number is 1-800-252-5722.
disconnect all of your speakers , then hook them back up one at a time when the radio starts to malfunction u have located which channel on the radio is bad.check ur wire installattion
Per manual, you can lock a cd in by pressing and holding the power and cd button for moer than 2 secondsthe cd cannot be ejected. if acd is inserted upside down, please -eject appears.
I was having the same issue with my KD-S5050. I also tried the CD eject lock reset with no results. By using the following steps I was able to reset my CD player and it is working properly again.
On page two of the user manual is shows how to do a full reset of the cd receiver.
While holding SEL (Select), press ATT (Standby/On Attenuator) for more than 2 seconds. This will reset the built-in microcomputer.

NOTES: ? Your preset adjustments ? such as preset channels or sound adjustments ? will also be erased. ? If a CD is in the unit, it will eject when you reset the unit. Be careful not to drop the CD.
