Fisher/Paykel GWL10US washer. Blinking hot and cold temp buttons. I've checked the inlet valves and the cold water inlet is VERY slow. I've read alot of posts and I'm not convinced that replacing the cold water inlet valve will address the issue, especially since the inlet screen is clear. Any suggestions?

When they say replace the valve There,s a very good chance the diaphram is the valve is purferated or split (common Problem). But you can Remove the coil from this & with pointy nose plyers you can unscrew the top & inspect the diaphram If it,s ok give us a bit more info Hope this helps.Cheers.

Cold water valve not working. have checked that water is at outlet of cold water tap. Can you help? thank you

Water Valve Test
When in Diagnostic Mode, the WASH TEMP UP button turns the hot water valve on. The Hot LED is on when the hot valve is on. The WASH TEMP DOWN button turns the cold water valve on. The Cold LED is on when the cold valve is on.

DIAGNOSTIC MODE
Turn the power on at the power point but off at the machine. Press and hold the WASH TEMP DOWN button and then the POWER button until the machine gives 2 short beeps and lights up. Release buttons when the beeps indicate diagnostic mode has been entered.

There maybe up to 3 filters cold water line. There is sometimes 1 at each end of the water hose itself and also in the valve which can be removed with pliers. (see picture)

Undo the 2 screws at the back of the buttons panel
Undo the connection of the valve
If you are good with a multimeter check that there is about 65 ohms resistance across the terminals of the valve. If not, then replace the valve.
Also sometimes the workings inside the valve can jam shut so replace the valve.

Hi, my machine won't fill with water

It would only be either cold or hot that does not work. Replace the Inlet solenoid under the top panel.
You can use the same aftermarket valves for both (Original FP valves are different, cold is wildly expensive compares to hot). http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Fisher-Paykel-Cold-24Volt-Compatible-Inlet-Valve-Part-FP420148S-/130833870254?pt=AU_ApplianceAccessoriesParts&hash=item1e764e6dae&_uhb=1

Fisher & paykel IWL12 Fault code 12

Your water inlet valve is likely defective. The supply hoses behind the machine lead to the watervalve.

Cold water valve?

Replace the inlet valve. This is a common fault easily fixed with a new valve.

No hot or warm water, checked hot water supply and inlet screen, all OK. cold water only.

You need to replace the "hot water inlet valve". If you have have cold and hot water at the pipes and only cold coming it the valve is bad. Replace with this part.

My fisher paykel gw11 takes an hour to complet cycle! Is that normal? What could be wrong?

Most likely cause is reduced water flow to machine. This could be because the filter on the inlet valve is partialy blocked or because the inlet valve is faulty. Check the valves where the hoses screw onto the rear of the machine. You may also like to check the flow rate of the cold or hot water. Cold water inlet valve problems are not unusual for F&P washers. They can sound OK, but have weak flow..Good luck....Please take a moment and rate this answer.........Nomess

Fisher Paykel GWL11 Cold Water Not Flowing

you can swap the hot and cold valves over and see if this fixes the problem as it sound like your cold valve is faulty but not the hot valve.

Cold water inlet not opening

Check the filter on the cold water inlet first to make sure it is not blocked. Next check the cold water solanoid. Take it out. Clean it, let it dry.
