Hello Marc, for what you comment, you can have several possibilities of failure, first you should see the belts of the mechanics, that are not stretched or cut, on the other hand, when you press the play key, the engine should work, otherwise it does , you could have the wrong engine or the key that sends current
I sent you the link to download the service manual
I hope you can solve it and enjoy your Sansui
Greetings Franco Dosil

SOURCE: TDK DA-5700 records from cassette to cd-R but nothing happens when I press FINALIZE and then PLAY (ENTER). Why?

Finalize is for multiple recordings. If its a single recording, its finalized by itself.

SOURCE: Sansui SC-1110 won't run at correct speed.

Check the Cassette drive motor. in the back of the motor there is a Speed adjuster. there is a Hole with a rubbler **** cover use tiny strait edge screw driver. turn clockwise and motor will speed up. easy way put in a cassette you know well and use that to adjust speed.

SOURCE: Device has record turn-table, CD

the turntable belt has likely broken, you may be able to fix it with a rupper band of suitable size.

SOURCE: SANSUI SC-2100 RECORDING PROBLEM

First try cleaning the heads with some electronics grade alcohol and a static free cleaning swab...although it sounds like the head may need alignment...if those two things do not work out for you, the capstan motor might be the culprit.

I need to know how I can hook up my Teac EQA 5 equalizer to my Sansui AUD 9 power amp.. I lost the manual to the E/Q

It is very easy, you don't need a manual for this. The EQ line in and Line out get hooked into the record out and Tape in of one of the tape loops on the Sansui amp. Record outs go to EQ in and the EQ out goes to tape play.

My DA-T500 is stuck on Tape and wont change to turntable or radio

You might have a gummed up switch. Try some contact cleaner and go from there.

I lost the english version manual just want to know how to record from cd to tape

Try this, select "cd" as your source, and load a cd. Press stop.

Then load a cassette, press play and record for the tape, and then press play for the cd player.

Recording Speed

the tascam 414 is a 4 track recording studio which uses standard cassette tapes- meaning they only play in one direction, because the tape is full. The 414 records at double speed so that recording fidelity is increased. When you have made a recording you want to mix you then dub your recording though the outputs into another standard tape recorder or whatever you have available, be it a cd recorder or your PC. So, when you listened to your recording on a standard tape player, you were not only hearing it at half speed but you were only listening to 2 of the 4 tracks. The other tracks would only be heard if you flipped the tape over, and they would be heard running backward. I would have though the 414 had a swich to allow it to also record at standard speed to but I guest it does not.

Cassette player won't play

Most likely all that you need is to replace the belts set.

Camera screen

does the screen isn't working either when you record and when you play tapes? if you record a tape and you play it on another camera, does it look good? if both answers is "yes", chances are screen is faulty. however, if screen doesnt work (remains blue or black) only when playing tapes but functions well while recording, it may be solved by using a cleaning cassette.
