Why does my phone keep reading android process has stopped

SOURCE: i keep getting the process android.process error

this happened to me everytime i tryed to add a contact. it somehow deleted all my contacts but with a simple SD card restore 1st then a factory reset (yes pain in the **** you lose all your apps and data) everything should work good as new, well atleast for me :)

please try to reset its because of the software corruption it usually happens in Htc models...
1.Phone turned off, press and hold the HOME and BACK buttons, and then briefly press the END CALL/POWER button. The reset process will start after a few seconds.
2. Wait for the phone to finish the reset process and then press MENU.

if it does not solve upgrade to latest firmware

This basically means the OS is having severe problems. You need to try a master reset first. If this does not work and there is no software update available from the HTC website you need a replacement handset.

The easiest way to solve this is to do a factory reset.
To do one follow these steps:
Slide open keyboard Press Alt and L at the same time you will get a screen with some options listed Press Alt and W at the same time to wipe device to factory reset Once it is finished press home and back key at the same tim Remove the battery Reinsert the battery
This should fix your problem but note that it will wipe all of your apps from the phone and you will have to connected the phone with gmail again.

It may the processor problem. or reinstall it and see.
Another method is to contact the supplier for help if you could not fix it.
