I have a speco dvr 16ip and i cannot connect to it through the LAN because it already has a password set on it. We bought it used and do not have any way to ask the previous owner what it is so I need to reset it. Is there a master password I can use to access it on the machine?

Factory reset for a speco 16TL500 passcodes lost and needing reset to default

Open The Case and inside you will see a battery, silver disk, remove it for 5 mins and reinstall it, power up the DVR and it should be set to factory defaults, the factory default for Speco DVR's is 1234
