Replaced yellow and Magenta to receive replace messages for both.

I take this to mean the machine does not think it has the cartridges installed. I replaced the black at the same time. It works fine.

I put the old cartriges back in and the machine told me the toner needed to be replaced. So it does recognize the old cartridges.
The "new" ones are reman's if that matters.

Thanks

I have a used C60. I have replaced both ink cartridges with Epson cartridges. When printing in color, the colors are not accurate. For example, red comes out yellow. Also, there are lines running through...

Hi there. The reason for your problem is that the colour cartridge contains cyan, magenta and yellow ink, plus a black cartridge of course. All the other myriad colours are produced by mixing these four basic colours. So, if you print red, it requires ink from both the magenta and yellow cartridges. Thus if your red produces a yellow print, it means your magenta is not printing. This can be due to a number of reasons, mainly an empty or faulty magenta cartridge or blocked magenta print nozzles.

If you wish me to help you with sorting out the lack of magenta, please post a new comment to this effect.

Ink problems....

Take all carts out of the machine. Have a look into the cart holder. Is there ink swapping beneath the white plastic? (You might shake the machine ;-)

If yes, the cart holder leaks and needs replacement.

If not (your lucky!) it could be that the automatic cleaning procedure which starts when a cart is changed has soaked the carts empty.

Do set machine with date and time and NEVER unplug NOR use a power switch which breaks the power supply.

Do use constant power and switch off machine by pressing stand-by-fax-button!

Everytime when machine comes to (new) power contact it runs an extensive ink cleaning procedure. thats why your carts are always near empty....
The stand-by will prevent this and machine does some cleaning procedures which consumes only a few drops(!) of ink!

The display asks you if you have changed the carts. Do answer this question by pressing 1 for YES or 2 for NO.
This will reset the built-in inkcountermanagement to the correct settings

Printer says I have duplicate Magenta cartridges when I don't?

I think it's the chips on the cartridge - the colour that it thinks it's duplicating! I took it off the black (duplicated) and put it on the magenta and it thought it had duplicate magenta cartridges!!

Konica minolta error

I had the same problem and found that one of the toner cartridges must have not been seated properly. I removed the black toner cartridge and re-fitted it. The printer now works fine again with no errors. 17H is a code relating to a fault in the rotation ......... possibly one or more toner cartridges need checking. Use the menu on the printer to turn it to the appropriate position (i.e. engine menu then select replacement of whichever toner you are checking).
Hope this fixes your as well.
