Mge pulsar 3000 gets power input b ut will not turn on if i press the power button
MGE Pulsar 3000 is an online UPS. try to check the battery first if its ok. coz for an online UPS it will need to have a good working UPS battery to trigger the switching relays to on the online UPS unlike backups UPS that can be turn on without any batteries
Can any one help me how can i solve this issue. when i received this UPS it shows Error Battery fault. so i change battery with new battery now it shows check battery connection no battery. i already checked many time battery connection. then i replace battery again with old one it shows same no battery connection. :(
ask APC.com they APC.com now owns MGE UPS product line (2307 EATON buy out) wiki this fact.
and this UPS , read the manual, from 2005 and it shows that there is and was an external battery option
if turned on and missing the UPS fails. so reconfigure the UPS per the manual for the batteries work
batteries not bad, not connected correctly, battery wiring wired wrong, battery lugs corroded termmals.
this UPS must be configured (settings) for 3 or more batteries
see chapter in manual on the external battery option and READ.
or a bag charger inside.
some have battery fuse or battery circuit breaker, tripped or blown.
also the internal battery charger dead.
or using wrong batteries.
