Look for a button or setting that looks like a small flower. If there is one on your camera it will set up for close ups to about 7 inches. When done press the button again to clear the setting. The button may cycle through several different settings so you may have to press it multiple times to access the close-up mide.

Testimonial: "Thanks for that. I did have the macro set, but I seem to get very poor quality, blurred results when trying to get a decent pic in close-up!"

I have had that problem also because any motion on your part is magnified. Try to brace the camera on a solid surface or use a tripod and see if that helps.

I cannot get a clear picture of a ring...what setting do I use...always have trouble with small items

Switch to macro mode. Press cursor-up (marked with a flower) then select Macro (the flower icon). This mode is used for close-up photography. For full details, see "Setting Focus" on page 28 of this manual.

I have a Nikon Coolpix s70 and the clarity of my pictures are horrible. I get on average maybe one good picture out of 5 taken. They are all very blurry. How do I reset my settings and which...

Check the LCD display. Is there a symbol of a flower in a pot? If so you have accidentally left the camera set to "macro" (close focus) mode. if this is not the case then add a comment and I'll provide the next most likely cause.

Usually the macro setting is activated by pressing on one of the thumb-pads around the select button, it will also be marked with a flower symbol. If I'm wrong about how to deactivate macro, then add a comment and I'll research a more accurate answer for you.

Close up pics W/clarity

Set the camera for the "macro" setting. This is a close focus setting. Turn the camera power on. Press the "flower/mountain" side of the command dial on the back of the camera. You should get two icons on the display...one is a mountain, the other is a flower (macro setting). Use the command dial to jump to the macro setting. You should get a large confirmation icon to tell you that the macro setting is activated. Now you will be able to get close, real close. Like 2 inches close! Good luck.

Nokia N70 trouble with galary after saving pictures

you do one thing , you select image from your PC ..right click on it & go to its properties, uncheck read only & hidden option & then trfr this image to your h.set .most probably you will be able to trfr that pic to other phone. If you are successfull in doing so ,then you need to trfr all images again in the same manner .

sometimes if you have hidden any image in PC or have clicked read only.then after trfrng that image in your h.set you are not able send them to other phones.
