Certain websites are blocked in China (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Websites_blocked_in_mainland_China). If you want to use facebook there, you'll have to use a proxy server outside of China or a VPN.
try using Google Chrome instead. Are you in China? the governments of China and a few other totalitarian countries block access to facebook, youtube, and many other social networking sites as well as a wide variety of websites they feel provide the public access to too much information that the government is unable to control. in order to get around the Great FireWall of China is to use a proxy server or install a VPN.
Go to the following webpage (CLICK HERE) called hidemyass to go to a free web based proxy server. This should enable you to visit facebook as it encrypts the data sent and rerouts it to facebook. This will only work if this site is not also blocked. There are many other web based proxy's you can try if this one is blocked , just search for them in Google.

Try using a free public proxy server, or a free software like Tor to access blocked / banned websites.
go to your facebook account and change the country...if this does not work...create a new account with a different country name and inform ur friends abt it so they can join it.
