Help!
My HE3t front loader has occassionaly left small amounts -less than 1 gallon, of water in the tub after wash load with clothes.
Now it is filling a few gallons in the tub when just sitting, parked, not in use at all.
Last night, with the washer door left open, I hear drip drip drip and the water in the tub is as full as it will go and overflowing!
Can someone direct me to the safety interlock or inlet valve control or whats the way to troubleshoot and FIX this????
Have electrical tester and basic skills with cars
Thanks! Tom
If you tip the machine back at an angle, you should see a clear plastic sausage shaped thing with a plastic tube coming from it, you will need to remove the plastic thig (pressure vessl) and clean it out.
Ecn08...I have the same problem with my HE3t. Can you describe the procedure for removing the water inlet valve. I only see one screw..Is that all there is?
Had the same problem with a He4t. It turned out the water inlet valve was leaking. I bought a new valve and replaced it (fairly easy operation) for ~$45. Since then the problem disappeared.

No codes showing at any time that I have seen~
Is there access thru the front lower panel or do I need to literally tip the washer backwards?
Of course- its on a homemade pedestal with little room to manuever!
Thanks
My washer is doing the same thing, filling with the door open and no one near it. I have not tried anything yet, but will attempt this remedy.
I have this very same problem! All descriptions of my problem are identical to those mentioned. HELP!
I have the same problem. If I change the load right away there is no water in the bottom. But if I wait, the tub fills up again. And it STINKS! The odor from the water is horrendous!
