Load remains wet after full cycle (including spin @ 1400 rpm)

Clothes remain soaking wet after a full cycle, including the spin cycle at 1400 rpm. I know the programme completes but it appears that the water created from the spin cycle isn't draining from the drum or very little is and therefore this water just soaks back into the clothes.

I've checked all the hoses on both the machine and the under sink connection and can see no blockages but could this be a fault with the pump eg blocked filters or a small item of clothing has somehow lodged itself between the rubber seal around the drum and the drainage holes?

Thanks

Paul

    Hi Coxy

Your solution went a long way to helping me fix the problem, thanks!

The problem was actually a 1" (rusty) nail lodged within the the pump housing which, upon removal, has now remedied the problem.

Now checking all pockets before washing any item of clothing!!!

Hi Paul, Assuming it is pumping out ok, Unplug the machine tip it back at an angle, underneath you will see a black hose that is attached to the bottom of the drum, remove this, take out the ball and discard it and remove anything that may be in the filter, replace the hose and try the machine.

Lsw9750pw3 clothes still wet

If there is water remaining after the drain then the drain pump must be checked. Also check the TILT of the washer and must be inclined to the drain side.
If the clothes are wet then the SPIN RPM is insufficient or the program cycle time is not adequate. Please try with another cycle or check the motor, belt, capacitor as the RPM is low.

Maytag Neptune TL clothes still dripping wet after full cycle

Pump out time of 40 seconds sounds good.

No ND error code and you spin up to 850RPM which is max for the machine.

You have no standing water in the wash basket.... I'm scratching my head.

Could you do a Spin Only cycle with that same wet wash load and set the SPIN for Max Extract. After you start the Spin Only cycle put the machine in Service Mode and watch the RPM range. This cycle sets the display to 12 minutes. Let’s see if the wash load remains wet and what max RPM is reached.

""Maybe the pump is not turning on during the spin cycle?"" You have no standing water in the wash basket correct? I feel the pump is turning on or you would have standing water in the wash basket and the pressure switch would have never indicated an empty condition (Low Level pressure switch contacts) to the Control Board. The Control Board would have stopped the wash cycle with a ND for no drain error code.

The pump in the spin cycle will turn on a number of times see if you hear turn on in a Spin Only cycle

I just ran a Spin Only light wash load with about 5 gallons of water in the wash basket. Timer went to 12 min. I toggled into Service Mode to watch wash basket RPM. At about the 5 Min mark (toggle in and out of Service Mode) the wash basket reached 850RPM then a few minutes later it stepped down to 830RPM to end of Spin Only Cycle. You don’t have a water valve stuck open or you would flood/over flow of the machine. Did you here the drain pump turn on several times during the Spin Only cycle?

My clothe come out very wet at the end of the wash cycle

If the pump is clogged and can't release all the water it won't go into final high spin. Remove lower cover and locate coin catch and unscrew it. Water will come out, so be ready. If it's full of stuff, this is probably the problem.

Washer does not complete its cycle on any wash cycle. Error Code F 02 shows up before rinse and spin is complete. Clothes are soaking wet. What is the problem?

check the drain hose for any blockages or kinks and check to make sure water passes through it freely. it may be that it's just not emtying quick enough and therefore clothes remain wet. in a worse case scenario the pump itself could be faulty :(
