This normally means that the web site you are going to is using a SSL certificate to identify itself and to encrypt any data that is transferred between the server and your browser.

The certificate is probably out of date or it is being used on a site with a different name that it was originaly issued to.

This could mean that the web site is a fake or up to no good.

If you trust the web site and want to go there anyway You need to tell your web browser to allow you to go there. How you do this depends on the browser you are using. If I assume you are using Internet Explorer you can go into Tools -> Internet Options -> Security Options -> Trusted Sites -> Sites.

You can add this site to your trusted sites list. But you need to know that this site really can be trusted.

I would be more inclined to figure out why their certificate is being blocked. Send a message to the company that owns the page.

Hope this helps.

How to a fix cerficates erros using google chrome on window 7

Is this on all websites? If so:

First check you clock, make sure the time, zone and date are all up to date! (Silly I know) but in order to verify that your machine is not hostile it would expect that your PC is not 5 years in the past or the future; it's a little bit more complex than that but this is enough to get by on.

Is this in all web browsers? Chrome, IE, Firefox?

Your PC might be missing some Certificate Authoritys, the people we go to to check whether or not an application or website is secure and approved.

Make sure that your PC is secure and running all the latest patches and updates:

Navigate to this page: http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Thanks.aspx?id=140

and you'll want to search for "KB931125". This should install all the certificates and not flag programs/websites in the future!

Cheers!

Certification Error Navigation blocked in internet explorer 8 only while opening gmail

Is the time and date correct on your computer? These certificates are dated and if your computer is out of that date range, you will get a certificate error.

There is a error " certificate error: Navigation is blocked" when I am trying to open yahoo mail

You should be able to either navigate the site anyway, or permanently disable the warning.

If you would like to permanently disable the warning:

Click Tools and select Internet Options
Click the Advanced tab
Scroll down and ncheck "Warn about certificate address mismatch"

Ask for certificate while opening gmail.com certificate errot Navigation blocked

fix time and date ...it might not be ok ..and it sees that the certificate you are running it not in use until some time after ...and this might cause it ...if it is not this ...uninstall the explorer 7 ...it will roll back automatically on explorer 6 ...and all will be ok ...
so go to ..c panel ...add/remove programs....click on explorer and click remove ...follow the instructions...if you really want it ...you can reinstall it from the net ...and any errors will be gone..

Certificate erros

The web browser certificate checking is too strict. You need to set it to prompt on untrusted site. Craig's list doesn't spend gobs of money on trusted authority certificates. They probably make their own. If you browser is set to reject untrusted certificates, you won't have a chance to make an exception. If the browser is set to prompt for untrusted certificates, then you get a little box that pops up, and you can accept the certificate for Craig's list.
