My cable wont show on the tv in i do not know how to hook it back up

If you've got the wire screwed on to the connection labelled Antenna you'll need to use the remote for the next step. From the TV remote hit the MENU or SETTINGS button. Look for an option on the screen called setup or signal. Memorizing the channels would be the next step. You may need to change an option here from Antenna to Cable in the setup screen, then let the TV run through all the channels to memorize them.

WHEN I PLUG INTO ANTENNAE--I GET " NO SIGNAL"---BUT I KNOW THAT THERE IS A SIGNAL BECAUSE I GET A PERFECT PICTURE ON MY SONY COLOR TV? HOW CAN I GET THE OLEVIA TO RECOGNIZE THE ANTENNAE SIGNAL?

You'll need to use the Olevia remote and press the MENU or SETTINGS button. The choose the SETUP or MEMORIZE CHANNELS option. MEMORIZE CHANNELS may be in an ANTENNA screen.

When you memorize channels you'll need to set the option for Antenna or Cable TV then have it memorize channels.

The television will run through each channel looking for signal and memorize those it finds. Sometimes it finds a very weak signal and you'll need to manually remove some.

How do I store scanned channels in Sony RM-SFL7?

Scanned channels should be store automatically to its memory; during auto-scan process. If it does not memorize, the main system control memory IC to your set is faulty and should be replaced. Do an auto-scan, and check whether it store all the received channels, as it go on scanning.
If not, contact any service technician to replace the above said IC.

Mitsubishi CS-31505 TV - UN-memorize QV (Quick View) Channel?

I've learned from a Mitsu tech that there is indeed NO easy (nor logical & user-friendly) way to UN-memorize a QV channel.

However there IS a work-around to accomplish that so that the QV will revert back to its Factory Setting of "Last Channel Recall."

Using the Mitsu remote control:

1. Poke the Menu button.
2. On the Menu, select the "Add/Delete Channels."
3. Select the Antenna (A or B or whichever) and select the channel which was memorized in QV.
4. When that memorized channel number appears, select "Delete."
5. Poke the Menu button again to exit.

The QV memorized channel number is now gone, restoring the QV function to "Last Channel Recall."

NOTE: If that particular deleted memorized channel was also included among the SQV (Super Quick View) channels, it can then be added back into SQV using the Menu and SQV option.

Hope the above helps those who have encountered the same issue.

We purchased an LCD TV very recently (2 days ago) and when we turned it on it automatically stored the channels in our area. However, after our initial excitment of the picture quality etc we discovered...

Manually type in channel 9 and then hit <enter> so the TV switches to that channel. Then go to the "setup" screen and navigate around until you find the "channel setup" section. There you will find an option to memorize channels, including the channel you are on.

analyze how to erase channels and thus learn to memorize!
