Main system memory IC might have been damaged. Set need service Contact any experienced service technician; or the authorised service center for Vizio at your town.

The statement was not complete in the forum , hence I presume the LCD was damaged while it fell to the ground.
The cost of replacing a new LCD to a new set must be reviewed unless you are able to get one swapped from an old one.

Not,worth repairing.LCD screen pannel is limited produce.Will cost the same as a new tv,after replacing the LCD screen might even cost more after part and labors.LCD screen is 90% of the tv,if it broken or damage not worth as a whole tv anymore.It now only worth as salvage electronics boards parts.

It's pricey, but keep in mind it is the main component or these TVs. If you decide to replace it, open up your TV first to see if your back light is also broken. It's a separate component, so you'd have to get that too.

There is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If the TV is under warranty—whether the original warranty from the manufacture or an extended warranty purchased with the TV—call the company providing the warranty coverage and they will arrange to have your TV repaired at little, or no cost to you.


Since some brands will pay for your repair even if you're out of warranty, especially if they've heard of your problem before and it's a known issue. You should always contact the manufacture first for your full range of options. If they're willing to fix the TV for free, or at a reduced cost to you, let them!


If the TV is out of warranty, and you have the experience and you know what you're doing, you can fix the TV yourself. Purchase the service manual from the manufacture to get started. However, if you've never done anything like this type of repair before and you don't know where to start, I suggest speaking with an experienced TV repair-person.

The cost of the replacement display would probably exceed the cost of a new set!

If you have the screen it is a fairly straight forward repair, however the cost of the screen almost always will exceed the cost of replacing the set. Being as we got no model number here is a general cost of a 37 inch screen used by many manufactures, $ 895.00 plus a $300.00 core charge
