If you are wondering how to set the clock time on a non-stock Kenwood KDC-MP228 car stereo, put the stereo in stand-bye mode, then push and hold the menu button till it gives you the beep on/off choice, use the control knob and click FM, (up) or AM (down). Untill it says clock adjust. then push and hold the control knob till the time starts flashing, then move the control knob up and down to change the hour setting, and right and left to change the minute setting.

Make sure that the source is set to "Standby" when trying to access the menu. It took me about an hour to figure it out and afterward I felt like a ******.

change the tune mode to standby mode. Then press menu button for few second until clock word is displayed on the screen. Afterward, press the center of the main control button on the right side of the stereo system. The time is now blinking and you can start set the time by pressing upward & downward button for hour and left & right button for the minute
