I will play my x box and about 45 min into playing it it will just shut off and wont turn on for about 5 min then its fine and it keeps repeating helpp??

Hello Delete any saved game files from your x box hard drive.Unplug x box for 5 min. Plug back in and power up. Try game again. Chances are files have become corrupt.Also delete any files from GOW 1 and 2.
hey johnny you will have to call microsoft and get it fixed there is one thing you can do in the mean time to temp fix it.
what you need is two towels just normal bathroom towels take everything out of your xbox e.g harddrive,controlers etc only things to leave in is the av cable and power supply as you wanna turn on the xbox lie a towel flat on the ground and lie the xbox on its side ontop of the towel turn the xbox on, you will see the error message and the red lights flash. wrap the towel around your xbox covering the air vents and then the 2nd towel put over the top. leave it on in the towels for about 20 mins then after that take all the towels off turn off the console and leave to cool down for 15 mins. turn the xbox on and it should restart again fine but only lasts for a couple of days then you have to do it again. wont fix it but will let u play while microsoft gets it.
