No - it is broken..,
Unless you have a good camera shop near you, it will probably cost more to fix than replace.

On my Fujifilm J30 Digital Camers, when I switch it on I get the message "Zoom Error". How can I resolve this problem?

Lens errors (zoom errors on Fujis) are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ... Unfortunately, many cameras that fall prey to this can only be corrected by professional repair. But, here are some things that you can do that may correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try.

When I attempt to t urn my canon Pisma ip2000

This could mean an error which I'm not sure of what it could be.

If you call Canon, they will identify what the error is in order for you to then fix the problem.

Is is worth fixing?

infopgdesign,
That's a close call, depending on how bad the housing is broken, there may be lens alignment issues, the adapter ring or the housing body may be cracked, take it in to a shop so they can look it over closely to help you decide if you should send it to Nikon for repair which depending on the severity of the damage will determine the cost. if it's close to what you paid for the lens, save your money and buy a replacement, maybe the VR version of that lens if it wasn't.

Kodak Easy Share LS443

hi there

the error is the zoom lens is stuck
there is a ring at the base of the camere which gets dirt in it and makes the zoom stick
can be repaired by most camera shops as it only needs about 5 screws removing to clean the ring
do not send it back to kodak because they will rip you off.

hope this helps
