For example you could try to connect a video camera, laptop, dvd or any other thing you could hook it up in your TV and check if there is still no picture.
If the screen is burned it costs the same or a bit less than a new one
Good luck
unfortunately plasma TVs have a certain shelf life, the plasma only lasts a few thousand hours, i would'nt competely scrap the TV, put a small ad in the newspaper asking to buy a plasma, same model that has been hit by lightening or power surge with an offer, chances areyou might be able to slavage the screen.
NO....You must pay attention to all numbers on the back of the TV. Verify these with your tech or contact your LG customer support for the correct board numbers. If the screen was broken I doubt if you can repair this for less than it cost to replace. The screen for this one runs at about $650.00. Good Luck and good advice!
Hello Check the contrast settings If you are a Technician than just check the video supply from 150 to 200 volts at all three RGB Cathodes in most of cases there would be dry soldering in others it could be due to failure of supply resistance check base biasing voltages if u can provide more information then I could pin point the fault Good Luck
